Announcement
The Canada-Nepal Forum for Research (CANEFOR), a Canadian not-for-profit organization, is pleased to announce the Fifth Annual Ottawa Research Conference, scheduled for August 15 and 16, 2026.
Since its inception in 2019, CANEFOR has been organizing interdisciplinary conferences of this nature along with webinar series and talks. As in previous years, we invite you to contribute to the success of this conference by presenting your scholarly work, attending, and/or sponsoring the event.
Our Goals
The conference encompasses two primary objectives. First, it seeks to provide a shared platform for both established and emerging researchers to disseminate their work, explore diverse research opportunities, and showcase the strengths within our community. Second, it aims to foster professional networks among researchers from Canada and Nepal.
By pursuing these objectives, this conference will serve as a significant catalyst for enhancing the research and professional capabilities of our community. It will illuminate the valuable contributions that exist within our network.
The conference is open to all participants without restrictions related to educational background, professional experience, or other criteria. We encourage everyone to consider submitting a presentation proposal. Your support is essential to our efforts. At this stage, we kindly ask you to submit your abstract and to share this Call for Proposals within your professional networks.
A Call for Proposals
We invite you to submit a proposal in the form of an abstract on any theme related to your research paper, thesis, research idea, business plan, or any issues pertinent to Canada and/or Nepal.
The abstract should not exceed 500 words and must provide a clear description of the research questions, data, and methodology employed in testing your hypotheses. Additionally, it should include a title, 5-7 keywords, the author’s name and affiliation, and an email address, all articulated in clear and concise English.
