About CANEFOR
Connecting Canadian and Nepalese researchers, professionals, and communities through collaborative research, annual conferences, and knowledge exchange.
What is CANEFOR?
The Canada–Nepal Forum for Research (CANEFOR), a network of Nepalese-Canadian researchers and academics, has been voluntarily organizing annual research conferences since 2019 to facilitate interdisciplinary scholarly exchange and foster collaborative research.” CANEFOR is pleased to announce the upcoming annual Canada–Nepal Research Conference, scheduled for the third quarter of the year.
From the beginning, this conference has served as a platform for interdisciplinary scholarly exchange and international research collaboration. Building on this foundation, we invite scholars, researchers, and practitioners to contribute to this year’s conference by presenting their work, participating in discussions, and supporting the initiative through sponsorship.
The conference aims to serve as a catalyst for strengthening the research capacity and professional engagement of the community. It also seeks to bring forward the diverse and often underrecognized scholarly contributions within the community. In this context, the conference is guided by three primary objectives:
- Provide a common venue for emerging and established researchers to share work.
- Foster academic and professional networks between Canadian and Nepalese scholars.
- Promote evidence-based discussions on contemporary issues.
Mission
Foster collaboration and knowledge exchange between researchers and professionals globally.
Vision
Build a sustained platform for impactful research that addresses shared global and regional challenges.
