Getting Here

Choose how you are arriving. All routes end at the Desmarais Building (DMS), where registration and every session room are located.

Arriving by O-Train (LRT)

LRT service begins at 6:00 AM on both Saturday and Sunday. Rideau and uOttawa are the two closest stations — both are a short walk from the Desmarais Building.

From the west Tunney's Pasture and points west

01Take the LRT eastbound and get off at either Rideau or uOttawa station.

02From Rideau Station: walk toward the Defence Building, then continue east for about 5 minutes to reach the Desmarais Building.

03From uOttawa Station: walk west toward the Rideau Centre for about 10 minutes to reach the Desmarais Building.

From the east Blair and points east

01Take the LRT westbound and get off at uOttawa station.

02Walk west toward the Rideau Centre for about 10 minutes to reach the Desmarais Building.

Three parking options are within a few minutes of the venue. Street spaces fill quickly on conference mornings, so the underground garage is the most reliable choice.

Free Street parking

01Free street parking is available on Wilbrod Street and Stewart Street.

02Spaces may fill quickly — arrive early if you are counting on street parking.

01Available near the intersection of Cumberland Street and Wilbrod Street.

02Payment is through the HotSpot parking app only — there are no pay booths. Download the app in advance to save time.

Underground Desmarais Building garage

01Enter from Laurier Avenue by turning onto Nicholas Street from either direction; the entrance will be on your right.

02Pay via the HotSpot app or at the pay booth.
