Announcement

We, Board Members of Canada-Nepal Forum for Research - CANEFOR (a Canadian not-for-profit organization), are delighted to announce that we will be organizing the fourth annual Ottawa Research Conference in Ottawa on August 16 and 17, 2025.

As in the past, we appeal to you to help make this conference a grand success by presenting your scholarly work, attending the conference and/or sponsoring it.

Our Goals

The conference has two primary goals. First, it aims to provide a common venue for both established as well as emerging researchers to share their work, explore diverse research opportunities, and highlight the strengths that we have within our community. Second, it aspires to foster professional networks among Nepalese and Canadian researchers.

By striving to achieve these goals, this conference will be a great catalyst to enhance the community’s research and professional capabilities. It will be an event to bring the hidden treasure that we have in the community to full light!

The conference is open to all participants, without any restrictions on the level of education, work, or any other criteria. We encourage everyone to aim for a presentation. We are counting on your help! As we go along, we will be asking for your stronger support. But right now, reassure us by sending your abstract. And help circulate this Call to people in your network!

A Call for Proposals

We request you to submit a proposal in the form of an abstract on any theme based on your research paper, thesis, research idea, business plan, or any issues facing Canada and/or Nepal.

The abstract should be no longer than 500 words with a good description of research questions, data and methodology that you will be using to test your hypotheses. It should also include a title, 5-7 keywords, author’s name and affiliation, and email address in clear and concise English language.
