Canada-Nepal Forum for Research

Introduction

The Canada-Nepal Forum for Research (CANEFOR) is a not-for-profit organization incorporated under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act. CANEFOR’s mission is to foster research collaboration and knowledge exchange between Canadian scholars, Nepalese diaspora, and other researchers worldwide. Its key objectives include:
·      Organizing an annual conference to showcase cutting-age research across multidisciplinary fields.
·      Establishing a platform for networking between emerging and established researchers.
·      Promoting scholarly, evidence-based discussions on contemporary issues affecting Canada, Nepal, and the global community.
 
All individuals who register and attend the annual conference automatically become members of CANEFOR. In accordance with its by-laws, an Executive board is elected during the general meeting held at the conference. The Board is responsible for initiating and overseeing various activities to advance the organization’s mission.
