Social media is something that majority of the population has access to, but is it doing more harm than good? Is our world’s biggest issue social media? Or is it more? Social Media being the interactive technology it is. It gives you an opportunity to share your ideas, hear others’ ideas, and a chance to communicate. At first it does it doesn’t seem as if this can do any harm, but looking deeper, social media has caused some of the world’s biggest issues. The web source, which was started to make life easier, seems that our humankind is not built to have our life revolved around shiny toys. Social media can be defined as any platform that gives you the accessibility share media, with the social aspect to it. Knowing that it is out in the world for others to see and either disagree or agree with your opinions. There is so much out there on the internet, that it cannot be filtered, and anyone can put anything on the internet, whether it be fake or real. Social media, has had our newer generation, forget the quality and the values of life, which has increased the mental health aspect of this generation, and lose the everyday values and the connections with the people around them.
